Helen was born in Melbourne and has had more than 35 years experience in painting. As a teenager she began formal art training working in oils, pen and ink, and charcoal and has constantly pursued her interest in painting since her training began.
Much of Helen's inspiration comes from sailing. Several years of racing in Port Philip Bay has given her the opportunity to observe all aspects of the sea and sailing. Combining her artistic skills and passion for sailing, Helen saw a unique opportunity to develop Yacht Portraits.
Knowing how passionate the skippers are about their boats it seemed the ideal gift for the skipper who has (or thinks he has) everything!
These portraits are ideal for the boardroom, study or office. She also creates seascapes and landscapes from your favourite photos.
